OMSI 2 Berlin Linie 186 DLC Announced

The OMSI 2 Add-On Berlin Linie 186 is an official map add-on based on the BVG bus line 186 operated in Berlin. The DLC accurately recreates the real route between Lichterfelde Süd and Grunewald and brings it into OMSI 2 on a one-to-one basis. The map has been developed using real road layouts and environmental conditions from the 2024 period as a reference. The route includes more than 40 stops, and the complete journey takes approximately 60 minutes under normal traffic conditions. With this structure, the add-on aims to deliver a long, immersive, and realistic urban bus driving experience.

The DLC is not just a single route, but a comprehensive city map that stands out with its detailed environmental modeling. The districts of Lichterfelde, Steglitz, and Grunewald are recreated with a high level of detail, including residential areas, main roads, shopping streets, and green spaces. Numerous custom 3D objects inspired by real Berlin buildings, along with traffic lights and authentic junction layouts, are included in the map. In addition, the package features Berlin-specific MAN DL05, DL07, DL08, and DL09 buses as drivable vehicles. As a result, the Berlin Linie 186 add-on provides a complete route simulation for OMSI 2, combining a realistic map with period-accurate vehicles.
